Panoptikon

An installation of a shackled flying machine that closely observes you, the viewer. With its significantly limited freedom of movement, the caged drone reminds us of how we humans subjugate the machines that surround us. At the same time, it raises concerns: are we really in control? The jerky restlessness of the tethered quadcopter and its inability to fly freely is a poignant metaphor for subjugated labour and raises thoughts about our own vulnerability in the face of technological progress.
